Here in Hoodzville at age 13 fear and pain were important to them. It was a place where peer pressure and bullying were constant companions. But it also forged a strong bond between them. Nevertheless, as Brian transitioned from juvenile delinquent to young adult detective, he never forgot where he came from. Meanwhile, he knew that the skills he learned on the playground came in handy. firstly, the ability to read people, then to negotiate, and to lead were just as important.

Brian gathered his crew, those who equally stood by his side through it all, and together they became the next generation of Hoodzville detectives. From peer pressure and bullying to role models, they understood the unique challenges of their community, and they worked tirelessly to protect it despite their situation. Therefore, with their insider knowledge of street smarts, they brought a new level of justice to Hoodzville, proving that sometimes the best detectives are those who have walked that thin line between right and wrong.
It’s one thing to live it, another to survive it! I’m not here to glorify but only to identify those problems and situations in the hoodz. From peer pressure and bullying, their actions will certainly enable them to break that chain.
“FROM THE PLAYGROUNDS TO THE PRISON!”

My Hoodzville storytelling books are part of a special mission. My stories have a real, raw energy that shows street life and understands street law. They are fast-paced dramas that reflect the tough realities of Hoodzville. I want to share the untold stories of kids facing peer pressure and bullying.

These fictional tales highlight what many kids go through but rarely see. Also, they convey messages without bad language, grabbing the attention of positive kids. Especially those who recognize both challenges and the determination needed to overcome them.

My storytelling helps kids and young adults shift from negative thoughts to positive actions. In fact, I want them to understand the world around them, whether in the streets or at school. Which will allow my impactful stories to stick with them.

However, I’m not just telling stories; I’m giving kids and young adults tools to thrive while being aware of their surroundings. Because people often forget that some can get caught in the idea of “guilty by association.” We all have that thought: “I should’ve not gone there or done that!”

That’s why all my characters face peer pressure and bullying early in life. They need to learn to make smart choices between right and wrong. It’s a wake-up call.

Furthermore, since peer pressure and bullying have always existed, they are often thought of as normal. We should share the stories of those who kept going and became role models for their families, friends, and careers.
